What is WNY Heat Retreat?

WNY Heat Retreat offers premium mobile wood-fired sauna and cold plunge rentals delivered across Western New York. Book your private wellness retreat today.

How much does it cost to rent a mobile sauna in Canandaigua?

A 1-day rental is $300 (24 hours), a 2-day weekend rental is $500 (48 hours), and a full week is $999. Delivery, setup, firewood and a full tutorial are included in every rental.

Do you deliver to Canandaigua and the lake area?

Yes — we deliver to Canandaigua, the north end of Canandaigua Lake, and nearby communities including Victor, Farmington, Bloomfield, Honeoye, Naples, Bristol, Clifton Springs, Shortsville and Rushville. Canandaigua is the eastern edge of our area: we do not currently deliver to Geneva, Waterloo, Seneca Falls or the rest of the eastern Finger Lakes. The spot needs to be relatively level with room to back the trailer in, roughly 20 feet long by 10 feet wide.

How many people fit in the sauna?

The sauna fits 4 to 6 guests comfortably, or up to 8 people socially. It is a 12 foot by 6 foot trailer with a cedar interior.

Is firewood included, and how does the stove work?

Two bundles of firewood come with a 1-day or weekend rental, and four bundles with a weekly rental. It is an off-grid wood-fired Kuuma stove, and we walk you through lighting and running it when we set up.

Can you set up at a lake house or Airbnb?

Yes. Check with your host or the property owner first so they know the sauna is coming, then we will coordinate on delivery and parking. Lakefront lots sometimes need a little planning, so tell us about the driveway when you book.

Can I add a cold plunge to a Canandaigua rental?

You can add a cold plunge tub at booking, or choose the Premium Party Package with two cold plunge tubs, a 10x10 tent, robes and lounge seating for $250.
